The highlight: Even in the PC variant with additionally integrated screw compressor, it remains as compact and flexible as its predecessor. This was a special request from customers and makes its use significantly more mobile and independent than with the previously available machines with similar dimensions. During the design process a lot of emphasis was placed on a very robust frame, which is adapted to the highest stresses of working in a tunnel.

The model for concrete spraying in large tunnel cross-sections, Sika - PM 500, was not exhibited at BAUMA. However, visitors to the Putzmeister stand had the chance to try this machine themselves with a specially-designed computer-simulation program, displaying their concrete spraying attempts on a large-format screen.
